In Sept 2017, Seafood Expo, a first-ever campaign held in fresh markets, was successfully organized. Hong Kong Market collaborated with the tenants and implement diversified promotional activities in our 11 markets, gaining wide media coverage.
The campaign was originally inspired by Tsukiji Market in Tokyo and the indigenous heritage of being a tiny fishing village in old Hong Kong. To create Hong Kong-style fish market, two iconic markets were picked as flagships – Siu Sai Wan Market, the “Mini Tsukiji” and the aquarium-like designed Maritime Market (Cheung Fat Market), allowing the public to experience the fun in fish market.
